Hot Hot Hot

Bloody hell, that was warm in the Wharf last night. I went outside to cool down and even there it was warmer than I'd normally be comfortable dancing.

Danced with "passionate salsera" - the first time we've danced together each knowing who the other was. PS, I'm amazed that you described yourself on salsacity as sweaty - have you seen some of the other people who dance in the Wharf?

Just heard from Stevie at Salsamania that Fiesta Havana now has working air conditioning, so I'm tempted to head over to Bristol on Wednesday.

Hi PS, I'm afraid I'll be in Brighton on Thursday so I'll miss dancing with you. But I'm planning a trip to Fiesta Havana in Bristol tomorrow and have space in the car - want to come? We'll be leaving Canton around 7.45.

If so, you probably don't want to put your contact details on a public forum - if you click on the mug shot you'll be able to send me an email. If not, I'll probably see you on Sunday.

Should have mentioned that Helena and Nicolai from Leeds will be teaching - they're very good.

Sorry to hear that, but I know what you mean. I get periods when I'm not getting much out of dancing, but I stick at it cos I know the longer I leave it the harder it'll be to get back into it (my lead starts deteriorating after a week off). But my former regular partner took a month off and came back full of enthusiasm, so maybe a break will help.

I'll be in Morocco this time next week, but Helena and Nicolai teach on the second Wednesday of every month in Bristol so we might well be going over in August.
